Now this really isn't a hobby or craft but, it does provide a great amount of fun for kids and yes, even adults. We used it one night at camp meeting in our single adult ministries program and you should have seen these big adult kids! They stayed much longer than usual, outside blowing bubbles in the moonlight! ;D
Solution:
1 tbsp dish detergent, 2 tbsps of water and 4 drops of corn syrup. Create giant bubbles by adding glycerine and a pinch of sugar. (Glycerine is inexpensive and available at drugstores.) Provide a rainbow of mixtures by simply adding food colouring.
What we used for blower utensils was just large gaged flower wire that we had shapped into a circle with about a 3 inch handle. Worked wonderfully well. Or you can blow and breezing through shisks, sieves, slotted spoons, bent papper clips, scissor handles, wire clothes hangers or plastic six-pack holders.
You could even raise funds by selling this special bubble mix.
